Jamani King is a dynamic and visionary leader with over seven years of experience in nonprofit leadership with a strong commitment to empowering youth through education and mentorship. As the founder and Executive Director of The Honey Bunz Organization in Los Angeles, CA, Jamani has dedicated her career to uplifting young girls aged 11-18, fostering self-confidence, character development, and overall wellness. Under her guidance, the organization has achieved significant milestones, including establishing strategic community partnerships and securing a dedicated space at the University of Southern California for monthly workshops. Jamani's professional journey includes eight years in the educational sector, including service as the Founder and Program Director for the Stimulating STEM Summer Program at the University of Southern California's Viterbi Information Sciences Institute. In this capacity, Jamani spearheaded the successful launch of a summer program aimed at STEM exposure for underrepresented youth, securing substantial funding and managing the development and implementation of the program. Additionally, Jamani has served as a DEI Program Specialist, focusing on program management and enhancing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives for the USC Information Sciences Institute. Jamani's educational background further underscores her commitment to social impact and creative innovation. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Media Art and a Master of Arts in Social Entrepreneurship & Change. As a leader, she is characterized by a proactive and coachable nature, with a relentless drive to grow and execute all tasks with integrity and excellence.
